International groupage shipments by sea (LCL) export and import:
LCL export service (Less than Container Load) or groupage is used when the quantity and the volume of the shipment is not so much to justify a full container, for example when customer has to ship only 3 or 4 pallets. In this case we collect the goods in any area in Italy and we deliver them to our Milan warehouse, where pallets are stowed into a container together with the goods of other people or Companies. We perform export custom clearance and then we transport the container to Genoa, Leghorn, Hamburg, Antwerp or Rotterdam port, where the container is loaded onto vessel and shipped to the destination port. The export LCL service has weekly and/or fortnightly departures, according to the destination. About import LCL service, pick-ups, export customs clearance, loading operations onto vessel and ocean freight to Genoa port, are managed by us through our selected agents who are in the origin Country. As the shipment arrive to the Italian port, we take care about stripping, unloading, import custom clearance and delivery to the final receiver.
International groupage shipments by sea (LCL) of luggage, bags, parcels with personal effects:
In case of “mini move” where the customer wants to ship only a few necessary items (small furniture, domestic appliances, clothes, books, etc.) we offer this groupage service by sea, very cheap and tested from many years. Our person in charge collects the goods at customer’s domicile (if requested we provide at the packing as well) and then delivers the goods to our Milan terminal, where we provide to put all boxes on pallets, wrapping, labeling and stuffing in the container. Then we transport the container to the loading port where we take care for sea shipment to destination port.
Obviously we provide the same service also in import thanks to the collaboration with our agents with offices in the main cities in the world.
International full container shipments (FCL) of 20’, 40’ box, high cube, open top and reefer:
If our customers require us FCL (Full Container Load) export service, we transport the empty container to the loading place by special truck. When loading operations are finished, the container returns to the nearest loading port, where we take care for export customs clearance, loading operations onto vessel and then sending the container to the port of destination. We may use as port of loading the following Italian ports: Ancona, Bari, Civitavecchia, Genoa, La Spezia, Leghorn, Naples, Ravenna, Savona, Salerno, Venice, Taranto and Trieste. The departures from the above ports are weekly or fortnightly depending to port of destination.
FCL import service is managed by us through the Maritime Company chosen or through our local agents who are in the origin Country. They provide for picking-up, export custom clearance, loading operations onto vessel and ocean freight to the Italian port of destination. At the arrival of the vessel to the Italian port, we provide for unloading operation, import customs clearance, container transportation to the Italian consignee and then return of empty container to the arrival port.
International Cross-Trade shipments:
With Cross-Trade shipment we mean a container shipment from a foreign shipper to a foreign consignee, without passing through Italy (for example in the past we made container shipments from Romania to Seychelles, from France to South Africa, from Taiwan to Zanzibar). Everything is managed by us through the Maritime Company chosen or through our agent who are in the origin and destination Countries.
